Welcome to the ISA

Dear International Student,

The International Student Association (ISA) of LSU is devoted to the mission of serving international students at LSU. Our goal is to promote the well-being of international students and promote the interaction among the international students and the interaction between the international students and larger community. In the past, the ISA took initiative on solutions for important issues affecting international students on the LSU campus (e.g. improved health insurance). More achievements and activities can be seen on our website.

Apart from efforts benefiting international students on campus, the ISA is committed to making a positive difference in local and larger community on behalf of the international student body at LSU. In the past, ISA generated funds for the victims of the tsunami in Southeast Asia and for those affected by Hurricane Katrina. More recently, the International Students Association helped support an orphanage in Pakistan that cares for orphans affected by the earthquakes.

I hereby invite you to join us for the cause toward an international LSU! With your involvement and support, we will move forward!

Sincerely,
Yanjun Xu
President, International Student Association
